Description

A corner of a terracotta bed, decorated to imitate an actual bed constructed from reeds. Either a toy or possibly an offering for the Sumerian sacred marriage ritual. There are traces that one or more figures were previously attached to the bed model in its complete state, but these have broken off or were removed in antiquity.
