There is some question about the honesty of this punch bowl. It is of style usually made circa 1665-1700; the hallmarks on the base appear in a line; the leopard's head crowned does not have a beard and is similar to that used between 1724 and 1726; and an attempt has been made to erase an old scratch weight.
