Tile picture in frame, composed of four tiles. Earthenware, the upper surface of each tile tin-glazed white and painted manganese. A horse trotting to the right in a landscape. The backs of three tiles are marked in manganese-black, 'E/1', 'E/2', 'E/4'; the 'E' on the fourth is just visible beneath a layer of plaster.
