Sheffield plate; Neoclassical form; the octagonal urn-shaped body on a slender octagonal trumpet-shaped foot within a gallery which rests on four scrolled bracket feet; the ten-sided spout with arrow-shaped bone handle; two loop handles; the ocatagonal cover rising to a gallery surmounted by a ball finial

Sheffield plate; Neoclassical form; the octagonal urn-shaped body on a slender octagonal trumpet-shaped foot within a gallery which rests on four scrolled bracket feet; the ten-sided spout with arrow-shaped, green stained, bone handle; two loop handles join the top of the body with a shell above an elongated shield; the ocatagonal cover rising to a gallery surmounted by a ball finial: the body of the urn and two galleries with scalloped rims; the body with applied reeded border; the whole decorated with borders of punched quatrefoils, bright cutting and engine turning; the body with two let-in silver, octagonal, vacant cartouches.
