Description

Silver; cylindrical; the pull-off lid engraved with armorials within plumed mantling. The coat-of-arms is argent on a pile gules three owls of the field, with a crest of a lynx. (with M.35.2 & A-1961)

Notes

History note: The crest and coat-of arms are for the Cropley family of Suffolk. Acquired before October 1948 by Louis C.G. Clarke, MA, LL.D., Leckhampton, Cambridge.
