Steel, with a very small waisted leaf-shaped blade almost flat with a slight medial ridge at either side. It is made in one with a short socket, which is plain with a weld down one side and a small hole at the blade end. The steel is pitted where is has been heavily corroded then polished bright

The simple construction, a long triangle cut with notches at either side of the centre, and the wide end wrapped round a core and welded closed, is visible on this blade.
