Short sword. The steel blade is straight, single edged, with a rounded angled point. The hilt has a narrow copper alloy guard, broken away from the ferrule, a waisted wooden grip partly bound with twisted copper alloy wire, the loose end secured by a nail, and a faceted pommel, matching the guard, and also with a broken away copper alloy band.
