From the second edition of 'Icones legatorum..."? Hollstein says of the second edition published in Bonn in 1680 (one year after the first edition) that many of the portraits have the word 'sculp(sit)' erased but partially visible, as is the case for this portrait. The individual entry for this print, however, does not list a first state without the word erased.
