Taejop
Pottery: Unknown
Bowl with chrysanthemum scrolls. Stoneware, thrown, incised and celadon-glazed. This deep bowl (taejop) has a flared rim and a narrow foot. The inside is decorated with a freely incised chrysanthemum scroll with three blooms enclosed between incised lines leaving the flaring rim and the recessed centre plain; the outside was also left plain. The glaze has a pale greenish jade colour, is evenly applied and without any crackle. The glaze has been wiped from the footring which shows traces of fire-clay supports.
