Description

Silver-gilt; the fluted bowl and foot are embossed with ornate gadroons

Silver-gilt; the spreading circular silver-gilt foot is slightly domed, and is embossed with gadroons on a matted ground. The stem has an urn-shaped knop beneath three cast scrolls. The lower third of the bowl decorated with the same ornate gadroons as the foot. The upper area of the bowl is undecorated but is fluted to form a hexafoil rim.
