Taejop
Pottery: Unknown
Bowl with chrysanthemum design. Stoneware, thrown, shaped and celadon-glazed. The rounded conical bowl (taejop) has six notches on the rim matching indentations round the sides, suggesting a flower shape. It stands on a small foot with low footring. The body is thin and crisply potted. A single line is incised inside below the rim, and the centre is recessed. The clear pale green celadon glaze has a subtle gloss but no crackle. The glaze has been wiped from the footring which shows traces of four fire-clay spurs.
