Red earthenware, stamped (?) inlaid in white slip and lead-glazed. In the middle, a lion rampant dexter (to left), with above, below, to right and to left, a V flanked by groups of four spots; in each corner, two curved lines enclosing a fleur-de-lis. There are two small holes in the top right-hand corner and one in the left-hand lower corner.
