Note

Signed and numbered on verso by artist. Image started with line drawing. All other elements were assembled around linear structure. Colours were proofed using paper stencils - accurate stencils then cut. Collaged elements were counterproofed wth wood, leaves, wallpaper etc. 'skin of a toad' (peau de crepaud) washes used made with lamp black pigment floated on a P.V.A./water damped surface
