Bowl, stoneware, thrown and celadon-glazed. This bowl of deep rounded shape (sabal) has an incurved mouth and a low footring. It is made of fine clay, thinly potted, and slightly deformed at the mouth. The glaze has a pale bluish-green jade colour with a subtle gloss, and is evenly applied, but has some scars on the outside. The base shows four quartzite spur-marks.

Bowls of this shape were used for cooked rice, and were potted either at Sadang-ri, Kangjin, South Cholla province, or at Yuch'on-ri, Puan, North Cholla province, in the mature period of Koryo celadon production.
