Description

Silver; shallow bowl with two lug handles and a domed cover

Silver; the shallow bowl with flat bottom has two cast shaped-triangular lug handles, which are decorated with a shell on a matted ground . The domed cover is chased with a border of decorative gadroons round the flattened spherical knop, which is set with a coin of Louis XVI. The bowl and cover are engraved with a coat-of-arms.
