Description

Half mask of russet iron with detachable nose defence, applied cherry blossom at either side of the chin, and spiral flowers at either cheek. A rosette of holes under the chin, and two cord lugs. At the rear rather flat ears. The inside is lacquered red. Attached is a throat defence of four solid plain plates lacquered black, sugake laced in blue, with a line of woodpecker braid and red cross knots at the base.
