The blade is T-section and slightly curved, narrowing to a point. The hilt is made of a copper alloy frame with bone plaques at either side, three at either side separated by single and double ebony bands outlined with brass strip, each fixed with iron nails (corroding).. The tip of the tang is visible at the pommel. The blade is bright with patches of corrosion, and is damaged at the left of the point.
