Description

Silver, parcel-gilt; the circular bowl is attached to a short flat stem, which joins the twisted silver handle. At the junction is an applied bust of an angel holding a shield engraved with the initials 'TW' above a merchant's mark or symbol. The ball-shaped gilt finial has two borders of acanthus leaves either side of a central girdle.
