Kitae: [forging pattern]: ko-itame with ji-nie, and bo-utsuri
Hamon [tempering pattern]: narrow suguha with fine ji-nie

Nakago [tang]: ubu, kiri file amrks, one hole, kurijiri tip
Habaki [collar]: imitation double copper piece with plates soldered to the sides, silvered, with a lightly inlaid blossom on each side
Nagasa [length of blade]: blade 20.3cm, tang 9.2cm
Koshirae [mounting]: aikuchi mounting, the scabbard lacquered black with roundels of blossoms and leaves in gold makie, all metal fittings including the small kogai of silver engraved with stylized chrysanthemums, the hilt lacquered black and ridged in simulation of rattan binding, round silver mekugi heads engraved with chrysanthemums. Overall length 34.4cm
