Description

Porcelain, thrown, luted and glazed. The large oviform jar (hangari) rests on a low straight foot which is echoed in shape by a short straight neck with a ridge inside. The overall smooth white glaze has a bluish-grey tinge and has settled in tears round the lower half of the body; the footring is unglazed underneath and rough.
