Note

C.316, 308, 313 and 318-1984 All these fragments are inlaid in iron-rich slip and have a greyish-white glaze.

Early Punwon kilns.

These fragments which have the high-fired porcelain body characteristic for the early Choson period, were presumably made at the Ponch'on-ri kilns in Kwangju. Kilns at Usan-ri and Mugap-ri in the same district also produced inlaid porcelain.
