Pottery: Unknown
Stand with floral designs. Porcelain, thrown, carved, and glazed. This large stand is cylindrical and has a hole in the top. The sides are divided into three horizontal zones and decorated with two bands of pierced floral designs reminiscent of Korean latticework, around a wider central pierced band with unusual S-shaped motifs enclosing leaves; above the base are small eye-shaped (ansang) openings. The glaze has a pale bluish tone. The stand has no base and the footring shows remains of coarse sand from the firing support.
