Description

Gold ring, the bezel set with a chalcedony intaglio. The oval bezel is backed by an openwork design of interlaced petals above which is set the chalcedony intaglio of the Apollo Belvedere, signed below ‘PICHLER’ in Greek characters. Plain convex hoop dividing at the top, with a leaf flanked by two scrolls supporting the outer edge of the bezel on each side.
