Description

Quartz crystal painted inside with an equestrian traveller and attendant in snowy landscape, the reverse with travellers outside a lodge in snowy landscape. Signed 'Ye Zhongsan', dated 1906. The poem on the glass can be translated as:
"The stone bridge slopes because of the wind and snow all day
This old fellow is riding on a donkey and looking for an inn
His world isloated from the war outside
And goes to the see the plum flowers on the Wolong Gang"
