Description

Squarish round iron tsuba: with raised rim. Wild geese flying in a shower of rain ukiboni, blue perforation for the kozuka filled with a gold plate nako-gaki. On one side seal signature gold within a square border of silver. Inscription and signature. Tobi Okayama ju Fujiwara Yasutaka Kitayu. Tachibana Tateomi kun no motome ni ogu kinkodo tsuchiya morichika cho.
Forged by Kinkodo Fujiwara Yasutaka of Okayama in Eastern Bizen, at request of Tachibana Tateomi Esq.
