Description

Curved steel blade panelled and with two pierced central slots, and two slots nearer to the hilt inset with moveable sea pearls embossing mimicking process. Set into curved jade hilt of opal colour, inlaid with gilt stylized flowers and plants inset with rubies and turquoises. The sheath is covered with dark green velvet with a silver thread band and with silver mounts chased and enameled with flowery mounts and birds in green, blue and red. Small green buckle attached. Mughal.
