Stainless steel. The jug has a narrow circular base from which the sides slope outwards and then vertically to meet the narrow sloping shoulder. It has a small lip, and a triangular ribbon handle which rises above the level of the shoulder.
History note: Purchased by the donor in Oxford about 1970
