PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment

CONTENT: Leaf with full-length portraits of René d’Anjou and John II, King of Aragon.

DECORATION: On recto full length portrait of René d’Anjou with shield of arms (Hungary, Naples, Jerusalem, Anjou, Bar), supported by a brown antelope; inscription ‘Renhart von gots / gnaden khünig von / Cecilia hertzog von / Kallabria’. On verso John II, duke of Aragon with shield of arms (Navarre, Evreux, Aragon, Castille and Leon), supported by grey antelope; inscription ‘Hanns von Gottes gnaden / khünig von Navern [Navarra] / und von Arrogon (sic) hertzog / von Nemons (sic) / und von Munblanckh / Graf von FibbagorSa [Ribagorza] / Herr der Statt Ballager’.
