Leaf from a Book of Hours
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 150 x 105 mm; text block on reverse 95 x 65 mm, 12 long lines, ruled in faint brown ink.
CONTENTS: recto: Hours of the Virgin, end of Nones, [exau]di orationem meam et clamor meus ad te veniat followed by the collect Famulorum tuorum domine delicits ignosce.
DECORATION: Full-page miniature with full acanthus and strewn-flower borders:with full acanthus and strewn-flower borders: Flight into Egypt, with Miracle of the Harvest and idols falling from their columns.
ORNAMENTATION: Alternate blue and red penwork initials [1 – 2 ll.]
