Description

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 140 x 100 mm, text block on reverse 95 x 65 mm, 12 long lines, ruled in faint brown ink.

CONTENTS: recto: Rubricated instruction in Middle Dutch for indulgences granted by Pope Julius II for prayers to St Gregory, Daer na Julius de Tweeste dob beleerde de selve aflaten.

DECORATION: Full-page miniature with full acanthus and strewn-flower borders: Mass of St Gregory.

ORNAMENTATION: Alternate blue and red penwork initials [1 – 2 ll.]
