PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 210 fols., 137 x 95 mm (80 x 54 mm), 22 long lines, ruled in pink ink, catchwords.

BINDING: nineteenth century, red velvet over pasteboards.

fols. 16r–152r Liturgical Psalter, Gallican, with antiphons, versicles, responsories, and hymns, with Psalm 4 and 5 omitted

fols. 166v–167r Psalms 4 and 5
fols. 167v–199r Canticles for Sundays
fol. 201r–208v Hours of the Virgin

DECORATION: Two historiated initials with blue and gold side bar borders, and floral and spraywork panels in upper and lower borders: fol. 167v Canticles for Sundays, [D, 6 ll.] David praying, medallion with bird in upper border, medallion with deer in lower border; fol. 201r Hours of the Virgin, [D, 6 ll.] Virgin praying, dove of the Holy Spirit in medallion in upper border, bird in lozenge in outer border, deer in medallion in lower border.

ORNAMENTATION: (fols. 167v–201v) Alternate gold and blue initials [1–2 ll.] with violet and red pen-flourishing, the two- line initials extending into delicate violet and green penwork border designs incorporating architectural elements, vases, birds, fruit and flowers.
