Description

Fritware, coated in a white slip painted in six colours under a colourless glaze

Fritware, mould made, coated in a white slip painted in blue, green, pink, yellow brown and grey under a colourless glaze
Shape: rectangular with moulded surface conforming to decoration
Decoration: on the raised upper edge a blue and yellow rosette is at the centre of a frieze of polychrome scrolling vines, buds and leaves. In relief in the centre of the tile, reserved in blue, a horse and rider carrying a parasol is dressed in a yellow turban and green spotted robe. In the background floral sprays and stylised hillocks with buildings.
