Moulded synthetic material with gold metallic coating, suspended on a 'gold' metal chain. The pendant is a reproduction of a Roman medallion in honour of Alexander the Great. On the front, the head of Minerva; on the reverse Alexander, mounted on Bucephalus, accompanied by a hound; above the name Alexandros in Greek; below the initials FM for Fitzwilliam Museum.
