PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 230 x 265 mm, pasted on a paper mount, verso not visible.
DECORATION: Full-page miniature of the Virgin and Child enthroned beneath a canopy and surrounded by putti, with St Jerome holding an open book and a kneeling figure with pilgrim’s staff and badge, the whole set within a full border with river gods and nymphs painted in chiaroscuro gold on brown ground.
