Description

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 203 x 141 mm

DECORATION: Full-page oval miniature of the commission’s recipient kneeling in prayer before a vision of the Crucifixion against a background of mountains and clouds, housed in a full border of gold architectural ornament with the Lion of St Mark in the upper bar and a cartouche holding the arms of the Stropardi family in the lower bar.
