Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, transfer-printed underglaze in blue, and gilt. Deep-sided cup with loop handle, standing on a footring. Decorated on the outside with a Chinese landscape with a pagoda and trees on the right, two Chinamen crossing a bridge between two trees, and on the left three houses and trees on an island. Above the bridge there is a boat, and there is another in the left foreground. Inside there is a broad blue band wityh projecting serrated leaves below, and a gold band on the rim. Down the back of the handle there is a vertical blue leaf spray with a gold line over it.
