Hybrid hard-paste porcelain transfer-printed underglaze in blue with Two Moths’ pattern, and gilt

Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, transfer-printed underglaze in blue. Deep sided cup with loop handle, standing on a footring. The cup is decorated externally with a Chinese landscape known as 'Two Moths' pattern, with a pagoda and other buildings on the right, a smaller building and a willow tree on the left, and two moths flying overhead. Above is a border of trelliswork and diaper patterns within C scrolls, and a gold band on the rim. There is a blue leaf spray on the back of the handle. Circular saucer with curved sides standing on a footring, decorated inside with the landscape in the middle surrounded by a gold circle, a matching border, and a gold band on the rim.
