Factory: New Hall Porcelain Factory
Hybrid hard-paste porcelain painted in enamels with three Chinese figures, around a tilted table; inside border of red scallops. Pattern no. 157.
Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, painted overglaze in blue, green, yellow, puce, dull red, and black enamels. The bowl is circular with deep curved sides, standing on a footring. On one side of the exterior there is a Chinese scene with one seated and two standing Chinese men. The one on the left holds a parasol, and the one on the right is standing beside a table with a potted plant on it. On each side there is a flowering plant. On the opposite side there is a group of fan-shaped plants on a small area of grass. In the bottom of the cup there is a puce bud and two leaves, and round the rim, a red line with a red scalloped line below it. Pattern no.157.
