Bone china, painted underglaze in blue and overglaze in pale apricot-pink enamel and gold in Imari style with an Oriental landscape in which are buildings, a bridge with a fisherman on it, and another figure in the foreground. Pattern no. 1163
Bone china, painted underglaze in blue, overglaze in apricot-pink enamel, and gilded. The cup is of Bute shape with oval ring handle. The saucer is circular with curved sides, standing on a footring. The cup is decorated on the exterior with an Oriental landscape with buildings on the left and right, a man standing fishing on a bridge, a man in a boat, and a larger man in the middle. Inside below the rim there is a continuous horizontal spray of leaves in gold. There is a gold band round the rim, and six stylized leaves down the back of the handle. The interior of the saucer is decorated to match the exterior of the cup and has a gold band round the rim. Pattern 1163.
