Factory: New Hall Porcelain Factory
Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, painted with black and puce enamel, and gilded. Circular with deep slightly sloping sides, and loop handle, standing on a low footring. The interior is decorated with a gold horizontal band a short distance below the rim. On the outside there is a narrow border of black zig-zag stem with tiny trefoil leaves, gold leaves, and puce berries. There are gold bands round the footring, rim, and sides of the handle, which also has a vertical line down its back. Pattern 280.
