Bone china painted in enamels with a shell, seaweed and flowers. Pattern no. 1045
Bone china, thrown, glazed, and painted in blue, yellowish-green, yellow, pale orange, dark puce, iron-red, and a little black enamel. Circular with deep curved sides, standing on a projecting foot. The bowl is decorated inside with three dark puce leaves on a stem, and round the top with a border of pairs of red circles enclosing a stroke linked by short yellowish-green lines with two red dots above and below. The rim is encircled by an pale orange band. On the outside there are two motifs comprising a large yellow shell surrounded by a blue and red stylized flowers, two with black centres, and yellowish-green seaweed. Between them, on each side, there is a red stem with four green dots above and below, flanked by a tiny red sprig. Pattern no. 1045
