Description

Hybrid hard-paste porcelain painted in blue, green, pink and iron red enamels with flowers and fern/seaweed. Pattern no. 442.

Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, probably thrown, glazed, and painted overglaze in blue, green, iron-red, and puce enamels. Circular with deep curved sides, standing on a footring. The inside is decorated with a central puce flower on a leafy stem, and round the upper part with four arrangements of leaves and stylized flowers separated by detached blur sprigs. A puce band runs round the rim. On the outside there are four small floral sprays with four detached green leaves between them. Pattern 442.
