Note

Unrecorded early state of the title which is first recorded by Globe for the edition of 'Various Birds' published by Robert Sayer, c.1750, and then reused as Plate no. 9 in an edition issued by Thomas Bowles, c.1755 (Globe 516). Cooper published an edition c.1718 with a very different titleplate engraved by Francis Place, with two eagles and olive branches.
