Fragmentary four-line staves ruled in red ink, fragmentary words on lines ruled in black ink.
ORNAMENTATION: Five pink initials [D, D, D, A, S, height of one stave and one text line] with white floral and geometric ornament on blue grounds, and stylized floral or acanthus infill, except McClean 201.14a, which encloses an empty cross; red penwork initial [D, height of one text line] with voided ornament and infill on blue ground, and purple pen-flourished frame on reverse of McClean 201.14c.
History note: Red dots (9 mm diameter) from glue or a stamp and the numbers 118, 119, 119A, 120 and 121 pencilled on reverse
