The etching is unsigned, In his catalogue of Stefano della Bella's prints, Vesme placed this etching under the section 'Doubtful prints', but Massar wrote that the print could be attributed to the artist, on the basis of the existence of a related drawing (Louvre) and the quality of the etching technique..
