Initial from Antiphoner
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Parchment, 174 x 140 mm, three musical staves ruled in red ink, four fragmentary lines of text.
CONTENTS: On reverse, part of the responsory to the first lesson at Matins for Christmas Day, quia salus [eterna] humano ge[neri ap]paruit; the initial H probably introduced this responsory, Hodie nobis caelorum (Is 9.1).
DECORATION: Historiated initials in graded pink and orange with scrolling foliate extensions and gold discs on a solid blue ground: [H] Nativity of Christ.
