Description

Pot helmet for use by a pikeman. Formed in two halves joined medially by a turn along a low comb, and by a riveted overlap at the front and rear ends of a moderately broad, strongly downturned integral brim. The brim has a plain inward turn accompanied by a recessed border embossed with twelve simulated round-headed rivets. The base of the crown is encircled by twelve round-headed lining-rivets with circular internal washers. Attached at the nape by a pair of round-headed rivets is a plume-holder of tapering U-shaped section with integral arms.
