A curved fragment of cast copper-alloy, broken at both ends. At one of the breaks an iron rivet is still intact. Although the date listed is uncertain, evidence from the site at Torksey suggests that metalworking took place there in the Viking-Age. This material can be tentatively associated with this activity.
