Viking (Ascribed culture)
A flat fragment of lead with a repeatedly hammered decoration in the shape of an equilateral triangle with three pellets inside. This pattern is repeated 20 times in rough rows. The motif is one that is a common Viking-Age insular motif on silver jewellery suggesting that this distinctive pattern was made with a tool that was also used on silver decorative objects.
