Yellow silk ground. Tabby weave embroidered with polychrome silks and gold-wrqpped thread in satin, encroaching satin and seed stitch (Peking knot) with laid and couched work. Chrysanthemums, peonies and lotus flower with bats and various lucky symbols symmetrically arranged in the main panel and borders.
